ADVENT ZOOM FILM FESTIVAL

The theme for Advent and Christmas this year focuses on the power of music in our lives and the history of humanity. Singing together has always been a way that communities have felt connected. We have been experiencing the loss of not making music together as a church during this difficult time. The films in this series were chosen because they tell powerful stories of people who were uplifted by music in very challenging situations. Some are historic and some are current. All are relevant to the times in which we live.
Through 3 sessions this Advent, we will journey through an amazing collection of films which will be referenced in our advent sermon series. The videos are accessible either for rent or purchase on Amazon Prime Video or on YouTube, with the links provided. We will meet on Zoom every Wednesday night at 7PM on December 2nd, 9th and 16th. We encourage everyone to watch the films prior to the discussion time.
